I am extremely proud of the staff of JFS at Home and their commitment to provide compassionate care for our most vulnerable elderly and Holocaust Survivors living in Palm Beach County. JFS at Home provides trusted, caring, and pre-screened home health aides and certified nursing assistants to our clients. JFS at Home continues to expand their team, adding client-focused and professionally experienced Companions, Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to care for and assist seniors in the aging process.
As a licensed home care organization, JFS meets state and federal regulations for quality home care and adheres to the highest standards of excellence. Our long-tenured and culturally sensitive team members receive extensive training through Care Academy. In addition, we provide LGBT inclusivity training through the Getting it Right Program from Connecticut Community Care. As my illness progressed so did my needs, this placed strain on my marriage and my family life. We reached out to JFS Care and now I and my family have the vital support we needed. I have the help I need each day and my family has the respite they deserve.
Our Home Care team is made up of professional nursing assistants and nurses , all screened and trained to ensure top quality care. As a testament to our dedicated service, we handle unique assignments, regardless of the complexities and challenges. Founded 150 years ago, we currently offer more than 30 programs and services, including food security, housing stability, mental health counseling, aging care, employment support, and disability services. JFS takes a holistic approach, assessing the various needs of the individual or family and provides the appropriate services all from one organization. We continuously evaluate the evolving challenges of our community and adapt or develop programs that respond to the resulting needs. Allowing a new caregiver to come into a senior loved one’s home for the first time can sometimes cause feelings of concern or anxiety.
It is sometimes hard to determine the level of care needed for you or your loved one and it can seem impossible at times with so many agencies out there. JFS at Home wants to make this an easy process for you and we will guide you along the way to choose the options that best fit your needs.
